Perform Best Practice Energy Assessments
iPlan Energy Governance integrates the Facility Energy Decision System (FEDS) energy analysis tool, which creates a comprehensive knowledgebase to support decisions related to fuel-neutral, technology independent, integrated energy resource planning and acquisition. Developed by the U.S. Department of Energy Pacific Northwest National Lab, this critical energy assessment tool utilizes the NIST Building Lifecycle Cost Model, which provides computational economic analysis of a building’s energy improvements and capital investments.

The iPlan Energy Model provides:

  • Minimum lifecycle cost configuration of a facility’s energy generation and consumption infrastructure
  • Analysis of the results and impact of renewable energy technologies
  • Recommendations for energy retrofit projects as part of an optimization model
  • Post retrofit financial, energy and emissions budgets
iPlan Energy Governance also includes the ability to create knowledge about environmental quality. The Lifecycle Emission Monitoring function accurately captures data on Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) and other air pollutant emissions associated with your facilities. The data is stored centrally, is accessible alongside all other energy information and provides the abilty to track, monitor and manage remediation strategies across programs, projects, buildings, sites and regions.
